Tverrelvfossen

Tverrelvfossen is unknown, unspoiled waterfall in the Sunndalen, near Folva/Oppstryn in the region Sogn og Fjordane, Norway.

When driving from Oppstryn to Grotli on road 15, there is a small road after 9 kilometer (just after Folva) going into the Sunndalen. There is no sign and it is a small dustroad with a fence near road 15. probably you have to pay toll to drive here or it is prohibited for tourists????

The road ends at Sunndalsetra and you have to park you car here. Follow the road further into the valley and cross the river. From here a trail follows the river Sunndøla until you reach Tverrelvfossen. After 40 minutes (2,5 kilometer) you have reached the majestic  Tverrelvfossen.
