Tredjefossen
(Forstefossen, Andrefossen, Fjerdefossen)
Tredjefossen is a small waterfall in the river Jakoselva, west of Vadsø, in the north of Norway (Finnmark), not far from the border with Finland.
There are several other small waterfall situated near Tredjefossen. Although these waterfalls aren’t very high, they are nice enough to mention.
From Vadsø, take road 75 to the west, along the Varangerfjorden and in Annijoki/Vestre Jakobselv take road Fv323 to the north for appr 5 kilometer. The road follows the course of the river until the road ends at the Vaselva with the nice Vassfossen (gps 70.1559, 29.32802). Now you are near the Tredjefossen. I am not sure how to get at the waterfall. There is a path going to the river but I am not sure if you have a clear view on the waterfall.
The Tredjefossen is about 5 meters high and very nice to see. Two other small waterfalls are located downstream, more south towards the Varangerfjorden:
Forstefossen, Andrefossen.
A third waterfall, Fjerdefossen is situated more north of Tredjefossen. A nice scenery, perfect for a firm walk.
