Tatzelwurm Wasserfälle

The Tatzelwurm wasserfälle is a gorgeous waterfall west of Oberaudorf in the region Bayern, Germany.

From Oberaudorf drive west over the Tatzelwumstrasse, to Seebach until you reach a parking lot on your right hand at the Spa(gps 47.672629, 12.084965). There is also an official parking at the west side of the Tatzelwurm wasserfälle called “parkplatz Auerbach” (gps 47.670544, 12.080548).

It is a short walk to the first viewpoint on the Tatzelwurm wasserfälle, within 5 minutes you can take your first pictures. The path is signed and to view all of the waterfall you don’t need so much time. A roundtrip from the “parkplatz Auerbach” is 900 meter long (ascend 4o meter) and will take 30-40 minutes.

In a small canyon the river Auerbach drops down over several cascades with a total height of 95 meter. The biggest and most beautiful drop is approximately 10 meter and is located at a wooden bridge over the river. Here you have a good view on the Tatzelwurm wasserfälle.

Going down you have a nice view on 2 cascades of approximately 10 meter wit the wooden bridge in the middle of the drops.
