Selvallafoss

Selvallafoss, better know as the Sheep’s waterfall, is a nice hidden waterfall on the peninsula Snæfellsnes in the western parts of Iceland.

Selvallafoss is easy to reach from a parking along road 56 (gps 64.941525, -22.904131) when driving from Bogarnes to the Stykkish ferry. The parking is located at the left side of the road but there is no sign saying “Selvallafoss”.

From the parking/picnic area it is a 5 minute walk in the direction of lake Selvalla until you have to go left. Here the hidden Sheep’s waterfall is located. The waterfall is not visible from the road side.
