Poms wasserfall
(Flüder wasserfall)
The Poms wasserfall or Flüder wasserfall is a 25 meter high waterfall east of Wolfsberg at the Koralpe, Steiermark, Austria.
When driving on road A2 at Wolfsberg, take exit 25 Wolfsberg Sud. Follow the road straight ahead until there is a left turn (green sign Koralpe – gps 46.810719, 14.863493) where you drive east up to the Koralpe. After 11 kilometer you reach the skiing area. Park your car at the big car park at the end of the road (gps 46.806532, 14.948011).
The trailhead to the Poms wasserfall lies at the end of the road. Walk further down the road, at the holiday houses (north). Here e a trail starts to the Grosshollerhutte. After approximately 20 minute, at at s-bend in the road, the Poms wasserfall or Flüder wasserfall is lying at the right side of the road.
The Poms wasserfall is a nice waterfall, not very spectacular or powerful, but when staying in the area a visit worthwhile. Best time to visit the Poms wasserfall is probably early summer but the water in the river flows almost all year around.
