Lochner wasserfall

The Lochner wasserfall is a beautiful, but small waterfall north of the Walchsee near Winkl in the region Tirol, Austria. From road 172 turn to the north at the Walchsee heading to Winkl. There is a parking lot (2 euro) at a sportcenter. From here the trial leads to the Lochner wasserfall and can be reached in 30 minutes. There are signs with “Wasserfall”.

There is a manmade wooden bridge in front of the Lochner wasserfall. The Lochner wasserfall is about 10 meters high with a nice pool at the end of the waterfall. A nice place for a short swim in summertime? The Lochner wasserfall is part of the Kohlnriederbach, a tiny river.

The Lochner wasserfall falls towards the south and all day is a good time to visit. I prefer morning-time.
