Lepida waterfall
(Nymps waterfall, Καταρράκτης Λεπίδα)
The Lepida waterfalls (or Nymps waterfall, Καταρράκτης Λεπίδα) are actually two gorgeous waterfalls in the direct vicinity of each other. The upper part is a nice waterfall (actually called Lepida waterfall) with two stages and a total height of appr. 60 meter. A little downstream there is the second waterfall (actually called Nymps waterfall) with a single drop of 70 meter: gps 37.339035, 22.635021.
The Lepida waterfall (Nymps waterfall) is located between Paralio Astros and Tripoli (Greece) in the region Peleponnesus.
From Paralio Astros drive west to Astros>Elliniko and Paralio Astros (a 21 km drive). In teh village go left directly after the cafe/restaurant at your right hand side (37.358855, 22.637427). A small road leads to a t split in the road>keep right. A little further, at a house, go right and follow the road to the end. Here you are close to the upper Lepida waterfall (or Nymps waterfall).
In summertime the Lepida waterfall (or Nymps waterfall) probably runs dry.
Note: there is a second waterfall called Lepida located near Dipotama (east Macedonia)!
