Lauifall
The Lauifall or Laui wasserfall is an unknown waterfall near Lungern in the region Obwald, Switzerland.
I am not totally sure if you can see the Lauifall when walking closer to the waterfall but if you want to check it out: Near exit 32 Lungern (on road 4) there is a road going to the Brunig car park (gps 46.777650, 8.140933). There is a big sign pointing to the Brunig park. A little back the road, at the river, the trailhead starts. Follow the path at the southbank of the river going upstream (west).
It is certainly possible to see the Lauifall from the Brünigstrasse (near Chälrütirank), a viewpoint up at Lungern. You can see the waterfall when driving a little further up.
The Lauifall is the highest waterfall in Obwalden and it should have a single drop of 150 meter. The river Lauibach is being fed with melted snow from the mountain Hoch Gumme (2.204 m) and best can be visited early in the summer.
Another waterfall, also worthwhile visiting near Lungern, is the Dundelbach wasserfall.
