Kreealmfall

The Kreealmfall is an unknown waterfall near the small village of Kree (Grossarltal) in the region Salzburg, Austria.

From St Johann im Pongau drive to Grossarl and further to the end of the valley. There is a big parking when the road ends (gps 47.147579, 13.287785). The Kreealmfall is located at the east side of the valley, so keep left when walking further into the valley. It is a short walk and after the path goes along a  campingsite you already see the river Kreealpenbach.  You already can see the Kreealmfall but in a few  minutes you can walk to the base of the Kreealmfall.

The Kreealmfall looks very nice on pictures, especially when taken in a season with enough melting water. Unfortunately the Kreealmfall looks less impressive from a little distance, best view is from the main path. The Kreealmfall falls towards the west and best can be visited in the afternoon.

There are many unnamed waterfalls in the Grossarltal but are marked on the map of BEV Austria.
