Fellbachfall

The Fellbachfall is a nice waterfall near Saas-Balen in the region Valais, Switzerland.

From Sion drive to Visp on road 9 and there take the exit to to Saas-Fee and Saas-Balen. The lower part of the Fellbachfall is almost located in Saas-Balen itself. Park the car somewhere in Saas-Balen (it isn’t that big) and walk towards the river. An option is the parking along the main road at the bridge over the river Saaser Vispa (gps 46.153171, 7.928317).

There are several bridges from where you have a view on the Fellbachfall. The upper part is somewhat more difficult to reach but there are tracks going up. Actually I see different drops in the river Fellbach so I am not sure where the upper part is. I think the drop at an altitude of 2.050 meter.
