Falcherenbachfall

The Falcherenbachfall is such a waterfall you drive by without stopping or even without noticing that it is quite a tall waterfall, 70 meter single drop. The Falcherenbachfall is located along road 6, a little west outside Meiringen when driving from Meiringen to Brienz in the region Berner Oberland, Switzerland.

When driving on road 6, just after the roundabout, the Falcherenbachfall shows up at the southside of the valley. Stopping along the road is not possible so I don’t have any good pictures of the waterfall. Next time I know I have to take the paralelroad (Badstrasse) to take some pictures.

I think Meiringen is the perfect location to spot waterfalls with a few of the best waterfalls you can visit: Alpbachfall, Rosenlauischlucht, Reichenbachfall and off cause the Giessbachfälle. There are many more others but these are the most impressive ones.
