Cascata di Salino

Cascata di Salino or Schioppo di Salino is a 50 meter high waterfall near Mammola ( Parco nazionale dell’Aspromonte) in the region Calabria, Italy.

The one kilometer walk to Cascata di Salino starts at the trailhead of “sentiero dei Greci”, near road ss682. Take the exit Mammola and take the paralel road going west. Drive onto the gravel road and park your car at the information board (gps 38.361212, 16.205511).

From here follow the trail at the house going north. More information about the one kilometer walk (15-20 minutes) can be found on Wikiloc.

I don’t think there is water in the river all year around but in rainy periods Cascata di Salino is a nice waterfall.
