Cascata della Crosa

Cascata della Crosa is a tall waterfall near Piano de Peccia (Lavizzara-Valle Maggia) in the region Ticino, Switzerland.

There are so many gorgeous waterfalls in Valle Maggia and the surrounding valleys but Cascata della Crosa is one of the highest one with its 129 meter.

In Lavizzara take the left turn to Piano de Peccia. Now you can drive to (almost) the end of the valley. At the end the road becomes very narrow and turns into a small gravel road. I think it is allowed to drive to gps 46.429732, 8.596502. From here Cascata della Crosa is only a 30 minute walk (2 kilometer) ascending over 300 meter.

It is also possible to hike from the restaurant/cafe in Sant Antonio (gps 46.418687, 8.603694). This is walk of a little less then one hour.
