Cascata del Groven

Cascata del Groven is a 60 meter high waterfall that plunges down over two major stages. The waterfall is located north of Lostallo, along road 13, in the region Graubünden, Switzerland.

From Chur take road 13 south to Bellinzona. Take exit 37 Lostallo. At the end of the exit go right and at the paralel road go right again to Mesocco.

After the sign Cabbiolo you can see Cascata del Groven, at the left side, plunging down over 400 meter. The biggest single drop is appr. 60 meter.

Best view is from the roadside at Cabbiolo (gps 46.325665, 9.203204). As far as I can see there is no official trail to get closer to Cascata del Groven. It must be possible because I have seen pictures of it, but I don’t know how.
