Cascata del Frott

Cascata del Frott is an impressive waterfall near the small hamlet Rossa (Val Calanca) in the region Graubünden, Switzerland.

From Chur drive south on road 13 to Bellinzona. At Grono drive into Val Calanca. Almost at the end of the valley, just before Rosso, you already can see Cascata del Frott dropping down over a height of 150 meter. The upper part has a single drop of appr. 70 meter and can be quite powerful early in the season.

Best view on the waterfall is from the road (Augio) that is lying a little above the village of Rossa (gps 46.364791, 9.125454). Another great view you have nearer to the waterfall at the main river (gps 46.364173, 9.127923).
