Cascade de Thiéry
Cascade de Thiéry is one of the highest single drop waterfalls in the south of France with a single drop of 70 meter. The waterfall has two major stages with a total height of 110 meter.
Driving north of Nice on road D6202 take the exit to Villars sur Var and Thiery. Proceed following road D26 and the signs for Thiery (D226). At the end of road D226, at the village of Thiery, you have to go left to Chapelle Sain-Jean before you can see Cascade de Thiéry in the distance.
There is also a path going down to the river when entering Thiery. You have to descend 140 meter before you are in the valley at the river.
I think the waterfall runs dry in summertime or even after a dry period.
