Cascade de Costeplane

Cascade de Costeplane is a nice waterfall in springtime, located near le Lauzet-Ubaye in the region  Alpes/Haute Provence, France.

From Barcelonnette drive west over road D8900 to le Lauzet-Ubaye. In le Lauzet-Ubaye turn right after the Gendarmerie heading to a camping site and rafting Anaconda. Drive on and cross the bridge (keep right). The road is narrow, so be careful. Probably you can drive all the way up to a small parking at the base of cascade de Costeplane (gps 44.439997, 6.422508).

It is also possible to see Cascade de Costeplane from above when driving on road D900.

In summertime there is hardly any water in Cascade de Costeplane. Best time to visit Cascade de Costeplane is in springtime to early summer or after rainfall.
