Top 10 highest waterfalls Italy

Home - Waterfalls in Italy - top 10 highest waterfalls Italy

There aren't many glaciers left in Italy but the small glacier Rutor is the source of one of the most powerful waterfalls in Italy. But it is also the highest waterfall in Italy with a total height of approximately 700 meters. From lake Rutor the river Rutor keeps on cascading down with great force. There are three major drops that I saw.

There are several other tall waterfalls in Italy, some unknown, some very impressive, like cascata del Serio that only flows three times a year because it is a regulated waterfall. Nevertheless, it is a great spectacle when a great amount of water plunges down in a single drop over 315 meters.
