Cascades les Pissettes
Cascades les Pissettes is one or more beautiful waterfall southwest of Narreyroux in Parc national des Ecrins, near L’Argentière-la-Bessée in France.
From Briancon drive south for a few kilometers on road D994. Take the exit to Puy-Saint-Vincent, onto road D4. A little outside the village go left to station 1600 and Narreyroux (road D804). After 1.3 kilometer there is a small white sign pointing right to Vallon de Narreyroux. Follow the narrow road until it ends. Park the car here (gps 44.816740, 6.455600). From here it is a short walk until you have a great view over three gorgeous waterfalls in all kind of shapes.
It is hard to say how Cascades les Pissettes looks like because at the junction of three rivers you can see three beautiful waterfalls. One in the shape of a veil, one single waterfall with a height of appr. 70 meter and at the most right a multiple cascade waterfall.
Best period to visit these waterfalls is early summer when there is a lot of melted snow.
