Cascade la Chapelle d’ Abondance

Cascade La Chapelle d’ Abondance or Cascade sur Bayard is a small waterfall east of the village of La Chapelle d’ Abondance south of Lac Leman in the region Rhône-Alpes, France.

From Thonon les Bains road D902>D22 goes to La Chapelle d’ Abondance. After La Chapelle d’ Abondance there is a small sign pointing to the right with “Cascade s/ Bayard-Gr5” on it, turn right here.

At the end of the road a trail goes up to cascade La Chapelle d’ Abondance (La Cascade s/ Bayard). There is no official parking, but it must be possible to park a car somewhere here (gps 46.285807, 6.805009)

The walk takes about 10-15 minutes and goes slightly up with an ascend of 100 meter.
