Despite Iceland being known for its mighty waterfalls, there is more to do than visit waterfalls in Iceland.

Probably the first place people visit in Iceland is Reykjavik. Reykjavik is a cozy little city with a wonderful museum, "Perlan-Wonders of Iceland." You can also visit some architectural marvels: Harpa concert hall or Hallgrímskirkja Church.

The "golden circle" is a scenic route that runs from Reykjavik to Thingvellir, to Gullfoss and back via Selfoss to Reykjavik. This 300 km route runs along several great tourist attractions like Thingvellir with the beautiful Öxaráfoss, Laugarvatn, Geysir and Strokkur, Gullfoss and Kerið Crater.
